Tube magnet
The TUBE MAGNET are available in 2 versions: permanent magnets (MF) and electromagnetic (EF). The filters manufactured by Gauss Magneti are installed within the duct of a plant, in which the process material (e.g. flour, grains, cereals, etc.) flows: this material need to be purified from small ferromagnetic intrusions. The purpose of these filters is to attract these intrusions, retaining them on the inner magnetic core of the filter.
Principle of operation
The accidental presence of these intrusions and the difficult quantification of the same, in relation to the hourly quantity of process material treated, recommend the use of the permanent magnet version MF, which, of these machines, is the one most widely adopted. This version provides for the periodic manual cleaning, facilitated by the large size of the door and by the possibility of the core to rotate around its vertical axis.
For particularly disadvantaged installation sites, difficult to reach for the operator (e.g. the top of a silo), you can request the electromagnetic version EF. This version is to be coupled to a diverter valve with pneumatic control (optional), that discharges the intrusions out of the vertical line of fall.
- An AISI 304 steel duct provided with perforated flanges, with an openable door, hinged with sealing gasket;
- A permanent magnetic core.
It is possible to choose the most suitable type of filter, depending on the duct diameter, if any, or on the volumetric flows, specified in the table.
